Meet Your Mentor: Claire Sparrow

Claire Sparrow is a straight-talking, inspiring Scotswoman known for her inclusive yet exacting approach to Pilates. Passionate about her craft, she creates a supportive and empowering environment while maintaining a sense of humor and humility in all her interactions.

Her Pilates journey began in 1998 as a dance student recovering from a knee injury, leading to over two decades of teaching since 2002. Claire holds a wide range of qualifications from respected schools including Pilates Institute, Fit To Deliver, APPI, STOTT, Natural Bodies, and Polestar. In 2019, she became a Second Generation Teacher through the Lolita San Miguel Master Mentorship Program.

A studio owner since 2005 and mother of three, Claire is a Polestar Pilates Educator and host in Northern England. She mentors aspiring teachers through her apprenticeship program and founded Hosted By Movement Education in 2018 to promote Pilates education locally and globally.
