When I first discovered that my abdominal muscles had separated—and later, when I received the devastating news of a pelvic organ prolapse—I felt weak, scared, and betrayed by my own body. It was as if my body had let me down, and in some way, I had let it down too.
I thought... "How could this be happening to me?"
I had already fought my way through postnatal
depression, and as I slowly began creating movement as medicine, I started to feel a shift.
Through trial and error, I discovered something powerful: the more I moved—and the more of me I moved—the stronger I became.
Instead of relying on the rigid “pull-in and up” exercises I had learned as a young dancer and Pilates teacher, I embraced a whole-body approach—one that didn’t just heal my mind but also restored my abdominal muscles and pelvic floor.
Healing is possible, and it begins with movement.
I can’t wait to see you there! 💫
